How to use Boxstop Dispatch as a Service

Boxstop Dispatch as a Service(DaaS) is a dispatch management tool for logistics/dispatch companies to manage delivery requests from their clients. 


Here are the guidelines below on how to use DaaS to manage dispatch orders from your customers. 

1.  Navigate to the Daas Tab on the Partners platform.

2. Whenever your customer makes a dispatch request, Click on the Send Link button where a new box will be displayed to enter the following details of your customer:


  • Name
  • Email (Optional)
  • Phone

3. After filling in the required details of your customer (Name, Phone), Click on the Send Link.

Automated SMS and Email will be sent instantly to your customer's phone and email address.

4. Your customer is expected to click on the link, where they will be presented with fields where they can details such as the pickup, dropoff and other relevant details as shown in the image below:

They can complete this process on their mobile phones or personal computers


Note: Your customers can add multiple packages and multi-dropoffs

Your customers can make payments, get instant updates about their dispatch

They also get instant SMS/email for all the update about the dispatch

4. Few things happen the moment your customers fill in the form. 


- Their page automatically gets converted to an invoice form and interactive form to get status updates of their and make payments.

- The update is logged on the partner platform (Daas) where the status is changed from "Link" is changed to "Request"

5. You can click on the Show Details in the image above to view the dispatch details:


Also, from the image above, you can go set the price for the customer.


The concluding process is listed below. 


a. The customer is notified of the price set and it becomes visible on the initial link sent to them. They can also indicate their preferred mode of payment, by Cash/Card.


b. After the payment has been initiated by the customer, the partner gets notified as well, and the rider can assign a profiled rider.


c. The customer gets an automated SMS/Email of the rider details, also via the dispatch link. 


4. The partner completes the updates (Collected and Delivered) from the DaaS Dashboard. while the customer gets notified of the updates
